Finished this book a few days ago, and I can honestly say that it was different to what I was expecting. I thought it was gonna be like a slow burn, action type of thing where everyone is desperately trying to conceive a child, but it wasn't. It instead covers the deteoriation of society with the aging population and that no new children have been born since 1995.
The first half of the book was slow paced; it wasn't boring, but it didn't catch my attention a lot of the time. It basically sets up the stage for what's to come. The second half however, makes up for it as a LOT of shit happens real quick. Overall the writing style was detailed, but easy to understand, and I eat that up. An easy read but you have to wait for the fun stuff to happen.
