Review

This album has got to be one of my favorites. Ever. I swear this thing changed me. I love this album so much it's kind of unhealthy. Mostly cause it's kind of relatable. I can feel the music and the lyrics in my soul. This helps me live. I just love it. The lyrics are written absolutely beautifully (Closer is even better), the bass and drums are on point, and that guitar is so brooding. It's just so good. Please listen to it if you haven't.

Interestingly, when I first heard it, I only loved 3 songs on it: New Dawn Fades, Day of the Lords, and I Remember Nothing. Not that I didn't like the other songs, but it took some time to vibe with them. I thought the production was empty, like one of the channels in the studio wasn't "filled" right (I have no clue how music production works tbh). But then two months later I decided to give the whole thing a go again, and oh boy, that changed me. It clicked with me now. I finally fully understood the whole album. Now it's one of my favorites ever.
