Review

I have heard almost all of BOC's work, but nothing can truly compare to MHTRTC. This was the first album I heard from them. I did it on a whim, spotify had been pushing this album in my recommended everyday for a few months. I never heard of them before, but I was intrigued. When I listened, I didn't quite "get it" immediately. I remember only really listening to Pete Standing Alone, but as I heard it more, I soon began to love more tracks.I really love this album. It reminds me of a childhood I never lived. It reminds me of the 90's and early 2000's, even though I wasn't even alive yet. Just that blissful childlike worldview, sprinkled in with nostalgia. Sometimes the nostalgic feelings hit so hard on some songs, like Roygbiv, that I break down in tears. This shit is an absolute masterpiece. Slaps so fucking hard. Hell, I even spent $20 to have it on CD! In 2023! How amazing is that?
