Review
This is my favorite boards of canada work ever. Why? Not sure. It's just the perfect ep. It's got that early boards-ian weirdness, which is hard for me to describe. It's got remnants of the old tunes and boc maxima era tracks, while also being obviously better made. The tracks flow really well together. The dancy Nlogax, mournful seeya later, nostalgic eydiab. Absolute perfection. I like turquoise hexagon sun better on this than mhtrtc. Again, it's because of the track order. Seeya Later is also better on this than twoism, which I know doesn't make any sense because they're the same exact song on both ep's, but this one is better, trust me. This ep has the vibe of going outside for recess on a cloudy/rainy day and playing in the grass instead of the playground. Also, seeya later might be my favorite boc song ever.
Everything you do is a balloon also made me sob my eyes out last year for some reason. Amazing song. I love when songs make me cry tbh.
